Bambele Wildlife Orphanage
Bambele Wildlife Orphanage and guest farm Situated ± 12km from Thaba Monate, has a variety of orphaned animals which are cared for and rehabilitated.  Guests are welcome, but by appointment only.  Go and stroke Sessi the Kudu, or Zonkilulu the tame Zebra, or play with the Caracal, Vervet Monkeys, tame Eland or Warthogs.

Thaba Kwena Crocodile Farm
Thaba Kwena Crocodile Farm, is the biggest commercial crocodile farm in southern hemisphere.  They have approx 22000 crocodiles of varying sizes and export crocodile products to the Eastern Bloc countries.  There is a shop where curios are sold.
